FlorrMobNotify is designed to be usable within about two minutes of first opening it, but taking a few extra minutes to configure it properly will make a noticeable difference in your experience. This guide walks through the complete setup process from the beginning.
Step 1: Open the Tracker
Navigate to the FlorrMobNotify tracker at mobs.ashish.top/tracker. On your first visit, a welcome dialog will appear asking how you want to connect.
Step 2: Choose Your Login Method
You have two options:
- Guest: Click Guest to connect immediately with no account. Your session is temporary and will expire after a set period, but every notification feature is fully available. Guest sessions are the fastest way to get started and work well for casual use.
- Discord Login: Click the Discord button to authenticate with your Discord account. Discord login provides a persistent session (no expiry), shows your username in the community panel, and gives you a shorter mob deletion window (5 minutes versus 30 minutes for guests). If you plan to use FlorrMobNotify regularly, Discord login is the recommended choice.
Step 3: Allow Browser Notifications
After logging in, your browser will prompt you to allow notifications from the site. Click Allow. If you miss this prompt or click Block by accident, you can fix it by clicking the lock icon in your browser's address bar, finding the Notifications permission, and setting it to Allow. Refresh the page after changing it.
Without notification permission, FlorrMobNotify can still show events in the real-time feed but cannot fire system notifications. The feed is useful but is significantly less effective for time-sensitive spawns.
Step 4: Configure Your Notification Settings
Click the Settings icon (gear icon in the header) to open the Settings panel. The most important settings to configure right away:
- Minimum rarity: Set this to the lowest rarity tier you care about. If you are farming for Legendaries, set the threshold to Legendary so you are not flooded with notifications for lower-tier spawns. Start conservative — you can lower the threshold later if you want more alerts.
- Server region filter: Enable only the regions where you actually play. If you are on a US server, EU and ASIA notifications are not useful to you and add noise.
- Sound: Leave sound enabled. The audio alert is a reliable backup when visual notifications are missed. You can mute it later from the same panel if it becomes intrusive.
- Spawn vs. defeat notifications: Both are enabled by default. Spawn notifications tell you when a mob appears; defeat notifications confirm when it has been cleared. For time-sensitive farming, spawn is more important. Defeat notifications are useful for tracking server activity patterns.
Step 5: Understand the Event Feed
The main panel shows the real-time event feed — a chronological list of every tracked event on your configured servers. Each entry shows the mob name, rarity tier (with colour coding), server region, and timestamp. You can filter this feed using the same rarity and region settings from step four.
The event feed is useful beyond just receiving notifications. Scanning recent activity before deciding which zone to farm gives you a picture of server activity over the last few minutes.
Step 6: Explore the Additional Panels
Beyond the main event feed, FlorrMobNotify includes several supplementary panels:
- Rifts: Shows recent rift events with their activity windows. Check this before entering high-risk zones.
- Mapcodes: Community-shared server codes. Useful for joining specific servers.
- Forges: Current known forge locations.
- Shop: Current daily shop inventory. Updates automatically when the shop rotates.
- Online Users: Shows other connected users (Discord-linked accounts are visible by name; guests are anonymous).
You Are Ready
With notifications enabled and settings configured, FlorrMobNotify will quietly run in a background tab and alert you whenever a mob or event matching your filters appears on your server. You can minimise the browser, switch to another application, or continue playing florr.io in the same window — alerts will still come through. The one exception is if the browser tab is fully suspended by the browser's memory management; keep the FlorrMobNotify tab pinned to prevent suspension on most browsers.
